General Information:
The NOLA Green Summit 2010 will be held over 5 days in the Spring of 2010 in coordination with the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, held April 22.
The Summit will take place in 5 diverse areas of the city potentially, including:
Uptwon, Midcity, Central City, 9th Ward & West Bank
Summit days will begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:30 pm.
Presentations will occur in the mornings, community plantings in the afternoons.
Individuals, neighborhoods, organizations and agencies are invited and encouraged to submit proposals for presentations as well as to attend discussions and plantings.
The ultimate goal of the Summit is to raise awareness, concerns, and unified commitment to "re-greening" New Orleans in sustainable and healthful ways.
